Blood Diamond

This one is kind of a docu-drama flick made to bring attention to the strife in Africa. Mostly geared around the smuggling trade of diamonds (hence the name) and all the violence surrounding it.

Lots of blood and guts (with the action that leads up to such things) and the acting isn't too bad. The major selling point of the film has to be the scenery. Lots of nice panorama shots of the African landscape.

Can't say I would want to watch it again, so if you are interested in this one, wait for it to show up in the bargain basement bins first.

We've seen this (a few times) and thought it was pretty good! The wife and kids loved it.
