I am pleased to announce an all inclusive car show/get together at RevXtreme in Tampa on Saturday, September 29, 2007 from 4 PM to 10 PM or ??????

All cars are welcome.

Corvettes will have their own area to park in if they choose, Corvette Alley.

This will be a family oriented event. No need to register as entry to the show is free of charge and you can come and go as you please.

Look for discounts and promotional pricing on many of RevXtreme's services, specifics will be announced as we get closer to the event. Food and beverages will be served at a VERY minimal cost.

We encourage you to bring your automotive parts you would like to sell with you and put them up in our swap meet.

Thinking of selling your ride, bring it on over and put your "FOR SALE" sign in the windshield.

Several other events for the night are being worked out so check back to this thread for updates on the show.

I welcome your feedback and comments to the show idea. Please feel free to post them here.

And also if you are thinking of attending please respond as well just so I can get an idea of the level of interest.

Sounds good. Hope you can make it. Feel free to cruise on over as an alternative to RS, the show is open so anyone can come by when they want between 4-10, you can show up when ever you like. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Even though it's right down the street from me, I refuse to visit RS any more:(

His arrogance hit the last nerve when he made it known late models were persona non grata at his shows and had a fellow vette club member tossed out by the Sheriff for supporting another vette member that got ripped off by him:(

The Insty Tune show usually runs from 5 until about 7 or so. I was informed last night that my SIL is having a birthday party on saturday night, so probably the only thing I'll be able to do weather permitting, is a brief appearance at the insty tune show:(

The ride from Insty Tune to Riverview would be a nice run:thumbsup: and there's plenty of restaurants out that way if burgers don't do it for you.

I'll do my best to make the next one Brad:thumbsup:
 
Looking forward to it. This will be a semi monthly event, with so many car related things going on it is tough to find a good date, and I do not want to step on any toes from other shows. So that is why it will only be every other month and people are free to show up any time between 4-10. So no one feels thay have to pick and choose and instead can do them both if they feel like it.

UPDATE

We are going to have a christmas tree there (full size) set up with 2 foot pedals & chairs so we can see who the champ is with reaction time! We may do a $5 entry and the winner gets 70%, runner up 30% of the total.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle to be held at 8:30 PM.

Man, sounds like a real fun time. Wish there was more going on here up in the northern part of the state......... :nopity:
