Yes, with the current state of terrestrial radio my only commitment is to a paycheck

I bought my Corvette while unemployed in between radio gigs.

Sorry, I like "oldtime" hockey......
Sweet!!! another fan of REAL hockey!!! I couldn't agree more. Helmets do nothing but create more high sticking penalties because it promotes carelessness with sticks. And while you are at it, allow fighting again. No better way to protect your star players than to give them a bodyguard. Besides the fact that there is nothing like an old school hockey fight to watch.

And dont get me started on how salary caps have ruined pro sports. Turned them all in to watered down pieces of crap. Parity by definition is average. Average is boring. Average sucks.

What is your view of the current state of testicle radio? I think is pretty bland thanks to the wonderful FCC and religious right. But then again i don't tune in anymore thanks to Sirius.

In a word...a joke. That feeling was accellerated in 1996 when the FCC
loosened the ownership rules and consolidation became the key play to bring
costs down and please shareholders.

Then again I know quite a few that have worked for both XM & Sirius and the
business model they evoke is far from actually making money so you do what
ever you can.

I hope that sat radio succeeds. I'm not sure i could go back to "regular" radio. The fact that all hell breaks loose if someone utters a "bad word" is very disturbing to me. Gas is 3 dollars a gallon, there is a war in Iraq, prisons are overcrowded, and school systems are broke. And this is what we worry about?? Next time you are at the station, get on the air and say "$hit" . see what happens. Yer right. What a joke!!! LMAO.

Dealer support manager for a large Diesel engine outfit (Lots of big YELLOW stuff). Besides finding, singing, and setting up service dealers, I spend a good bit of time training N. American dealers on Engine electronics.
Been with this outfit for 25 years now, so I might as well finish my career with them.

Chuck.
