Here Mustang, Here Viper!!!

Let me preface by saying I usually don't street race anymore. However, the other day I was sitting in the center lane at a traffic light, relaxing, waiting for it to change. I needed to move over to the right lane to turn at the next light. So I jumped a little off the line and I look over to my left and see and hear a car next to me. Natural instinct, I gunned it. Didn't realize until I looked up in the rearview mirror that I just wasted a new Mustang GT. Needless to say I ended up going past the light I needed and had to circle back. Ahh, but it was worth it! :D

I can see the Stang forum posting...Today some A$$ O in a Vette nearly ran me off the road, cutting right in front of me blah blah blah.:lmao:

VETTE VS. STANG!!

I HATE TO ADMIT THIS...BUT THIS IS A TRUE STORY.

ABOUT A MONTH AGO I WAS GOING TO THE OFFICE ON SUNDAY MORNING ABOUT 5:30AM OR SO. I GO INTO THE OFFICE EVERYDAY TO CHECK EMAILS AND STUFF AND I AM A MORNING PERSON.

I GET TO THE LIGHT AT FLORIDA AND BUSCH IN TAMPA AND UP COMES NEXT TO ME A MUSTANG....YOU HAVE TO VISUALIZE THIS....I DID A GUY LOOK ...LIKE I DON'T SEE YOU OUT OF THE SIDE OF MY EYE....NEVER LOOKED RIGHT AT THE CAR.

WELL...HE SOUNDED REAL GOOD.....I SOUNDED REAL GOOD AND WE BOTH LET SOME "RIVES" UP TO MARK OUR POSITION IN LINE.:NoNo:

WE ALL KNOW KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN SOON!!!

WITH 405 HP UNDER MY HOOD....:thumbsup: ...SEEMS THAT THE "SILVER BULLET" HAS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO GET THIS STANG UNDER CONTROL.

THE LIGHT TURNS GREEN...... AND ALL I SAW WAS TAIL LIGHTS...... AND A BIG WORD ON THE SIDE OF HIS CAR....... "SALEEN"

NEXT TIME THIS HAPPENS I WILL LOOK ALITTLE BETTER AT THE NAME ON THE SIDE OF THE CAR!!!

NEXT LIGHT WE OPENED OUR WINDOWS AND DISCUSSED THE FACT THAT HE WAS RUNNING A 500HP STANG WITH A PROCHARGER WHICH GETS HIM TO ABOUT 600HP.........HE ACTUALLY WAS A NICE GUY AND WE STOPPED FOR COFFEE AT LOCAL GAS STATION.:D

HE HAS A LIGHT GREEN STANG HERE IN TAMPA....."WATCH OUT FOR HIM!!!"....I AM HOPING "IVO" CAN FIND THIS CLOWN AND RESTORE MY REPUTATION.........:lmao:

He was over 500HP when he had the C5R 427, but he sold that. He has a red '01 Z06 and an '04 Z16. The commemorative is cam only and the other just has exhaust I believe. Maybe a little more. Not to worry, Ivo always has something going on! :vette:
