Anybody up for parking together for the Ultimate Corvette Party?

We can meet in the McDonalds parking lot just a stones throw to the east of the show at say, 7:45-8:00. It's on the same side of the road as Ferman Chevy. That alright with everyone?

Chime in if you plan on meeting.

I just saw Gannet's post about the parking lot. McDonalds and Hooters are what's visible from the road. We can meet at McDonald's in case anyone needs a cup of joe or something.

This gathering place is actually the location TBV uses to start their breakfast cruises, etc. The restaurants are located at the street edge of a medium-sized mall. Just to the southwest of the restaurants is an Office Depot. Usually that's where the gathering is; folks line up right in front of it. This is all just southwest of I-75 and US-60 (Adamo Rd), and is about a mile east of the show site, at Ferman Chevrolet.

I think it would be great to go in together and get to meet everyone. The difficulty is the timing for those who have to come a distance. We would want to get to the show as early as possible, but since it opens at 8, that makes for a mighty early wake-up for some folks.

We could wait for the first arrivals to get parked at the show and then head over. That might suggest leaving the gathering place at 8:30. What do folks think about that?

Sounds good to me. We'll plan on being at the MacDonald's.

How many of you are staying at the host hotel?

Yeah, same here.......... :D Not sure when we'll show up on Friday, however. I may stop by AntiVenom to see Greg if we get down there early enough.
 
I'd love to meet you all at the McDeaths! That way instead of wandering around going "Pardon me mister.... are you ynkedad?" to over 400 corvette people.

I'm not staying at the hotel tho....I only live like 40 mins away heh.
 
I'll be there if I can make it by then. I'm driving up that morning. Not sure how long it will take. If I'm not there in time I'll try to find you at the show. If RichZ is parked with you I KNOW I'll find you. :yesnod:

Yep. You can now design your own color scheme on a sneaker through Nike.
www.nikeid.com A few styles, a bit expensive, but still cool.

Sorry I can't park witcha 'cause Tommy wants the 97 in the "54 Years of Corvette" display. This is the only show I bring the 97 to (because he's always asked me) and I feel so outta sorts since I usually drive my 57.

Come visit me - I'll have a display of Jim Schefter "All Corvettes Are Red" items - including his old car!
