Well Ienjoyed the show. There were some nice cars there and the setting IMO was great. The weather was not bad until late in the day around awards when it started to turn cold.
Here are a few shots I took.

To Ken and Carrie...

Sorry we missed you guys! :shrug01:

We thought we heard your name called for a trophy! Both Traci and I thought you mentioned being there, and we looked, obviously never finding you! :hehehe:

I'm sure we won't have that issue to concern ourselves with come the Ponce Inlet show in May! Any who...here's a picture of Traci with the silver 82 we entered. We had the 06 conv there at Celebration as well, but I decided not to have it judged. How can anyone judge NEW vehicles against one another??!! :hehehe:

Both Traci and I, along with tons of other folks, are glad that the Eckler shows will move back to Titusville. Seems this venue at Celebration (and at Old Town last year) did not sit very well with others. To move that many Corvettes through the the smallest of margins and clearance made no sense.

Felt we were treated like second class citizens. IMHO of course.

Can't wait 'till May to see you both over here!!

It was great meeting you TR6Speed when you came by with Rob & Mary. Yes it was a great time. IMO, the should continue doing this show at a venue like Celebration vs the parking lot at Ecklers...

Nasajack,

Armando

Congrats to JCB_NJB for first place in Street Driven class as well as to the other fellow Corvette Florida member winners...

Deb and I enjoyed meeting and talking with everyone. I got to put some new faces with old names. Other than Freezing my florida butt off, it was a good time. Deb liked the atmosphere at Celebration and says she would go back there for another show. I thought it was a neat place to have a show, nice photo opps.

Deb won 3rd place in her class," Hurray!"

I'll post some pics soon.

Later.....

"We keep getting beat by cars with stickers on them" that was a quote from Rickey Joe to me last night about loosing :shrug01:

And of Course another great show

Great show as usual. I wish I could have been there. Congrats to Deb!!!:thumbsup:

Great meeting all of you fellow forum folks

Wife Bonnee and I had a great time meeting w/ Scully and wife Nancy parked next to us, as well as most other member's that attended the show.
The Mallett collected !st place C5 Orginal H class.
Was Bonnee's first time to enter a concours show, so getting her feet wet in the spit and shine thing paid off for her.
Scully's C5 vert well prepaired by his wife Nancy, but gotta tell you folks, Scully's Stinger coupe is just flat beautiful. GREAT job on your restoration.
Spiceman:thumbsup:

As I was standing around waiting for the judging to begin, Jim Kill walks up and we stood around shooting the breeze with several folks that just walked up to us and started asking questions about how to fix something or how to check your plugs.... We convinced at least 8 or 10 to take a free CorvetteFlorida.com flyer, a couple from Canada was actually going to give it a try , eh? A couple from Brooklyn thought the cars were "Fantastic, but the Food Sucked.". All in a day at a 'Vette Show, I love it.

Thanks for the nice pics TR6SPD. Myself, and two other friends came to the show, but weren't pre-registered to show our cars. I think the most fun I had at the show was getting there. While stopped at a red light out on US192, about 1/2 mile west of the I-4 over pass, a gentleman pulled up next to me in his fairly new Lotus Esprit. He kept looking over at me and smiling...I just couldn't resist...when the light turned green...we were off to the races. He had me off the start, but it didn't take me long to catch and pass him. My buddies following behind got a kick out of it. Here is a 13 year old bone stock Vette..(with the exception of an upgraded exhaust)..dusting off a one or two year old Lotus....hehe...I think he needs to trade that pile in for a real sports car...

Awesome! You beat a 450 HP Esprit? (which, by the way, is what my car is based on) The Esprit stopped being made in 2004 and they had a Twin Turbo V-8 at that point, maybe he just couldnt drive it right.:D I would have loved to see that race though.... By the way I stopped by the show as well, everyone's cars looked immaculate. My car show is there as well on April 19th. I really enjoy Celebration. Thanks for the Corvette goodness......:crazy03:

Hi Gals and Guys,

That was my first trip to Celebration. It's a neat place, and it was a nice show ... I mean, where else could you eat great Cuban food (Columbia Restaurant) while gazing at a street full of the most awesome vehicles known to man (and woman)

It was a pleasure meeting some FloridaCorvette.com folks, and I passed out a lot of flyers for our show in Ponce Inlet. What an awesome way to spend a Saturday !!!! :wavey:
