Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581

Actually I got it from one of those dealers that are all over the place around here selling those things. Pay them the deposit, then a two man crew comes in and installs the thing, and you write one check out for the balance on the materials, and another one to the installers. They come in all sorts of sizes. I really should have gotten this one about 6 foot or so longer, as some of the rains (remember those?) will still sometimes get the cars wet.
Not sure how it would hold up in a hurricane, though, as it really isn't anchored much at all. They drove some metal rods through the bottom rails, but the sandy soil here isn't going to do much to hang onto those things. In my next life, I will get a concrete slab put down first.
