August 18th and 19th, just in case any of you are interested in something quite different. Connie and I will be there as vendors. If you show up there, look for the blue banner with white lettering that says "SerpenCo". We're about dead center in the middle of the room.

Yeah, I know.... most of you wouldn't be caught DEAD around all those snakes.... :lmao:

Love snakes :) That's the weekend before the kiddies go back to school (finally)..so I won't make it. It'd be cool to check out though!

Snakes don't bother me ,My mother lives in Daytona ,I wish that was the time for a visit.I'll try to catch a show sometime.

I'm not...

too crzy about snakes. Typically, when I see one, that's when the little girl in me comes out!:willy_nilly: :willy_nilly: :lmao:

I'm sure it's because I know very little about them.

:lmao: :lmao: Ray, I just got a mental image of you running from a little corn snake...... I guess it sure would boost that little snake's ego to do that. :hehehe:

Rich, I'm not sure if you know this, but I am a PCO here in Fl, and I get calls to come and remove snakes from homeowners yards, or sheds, or in their homes. Most of the time these are Black Snakes that are just hanging out but on occasion I will find a Corn or Rat Snake holed up in a kitchen or garage cabinet. I always bring them home for the kids to play with for a couple of days before I take them out and let them go.

I don't think we can make it up your way for this show, but if you ever get down our way for a show and need a couple of vollenteers to show off your snakes, let me know, I am sure the kids would be happy to hang around.

Oh man, I would love to meet you and Connie and see the snakes.
Our house is 25 min. from Daytona but we are still in New Jersey.

Wow!! I didn't realize there was so much interest in reptiles.
The snakes you breed, are they for sale as pets?
Something else?

Some do buy them for pets, but it seems most people buying from me are buying pairs of them to breed themselves. I assume they intend to try to sell their own babies then. I tend to sell a lot to brokers and dealers for resale. Europe has been a very big market for cornsnakes the last couple of years. I don't export myself, so have to go through a shipping broker to do that.

The show was actually much more crowded on Saturday, but I was way too busy to get out from behind the tables to take pictures. That blue sign with white lettering saying "SerpenCo" is over top my tables, btw....
