Default What's wrong with this picture??? Something went easy....

Took the car out and noticed I had no left turn signal, only staying in the on position rather than "blinking"....

Went home, turned ignition to acc., turned on left blinker. Both rear bulbs lit up but nothing up front.

Remove two screws and amber lens and retrieve blown bulb. Now I just moved into new digs and most everything is still packed up.

I find in a box of "garage stuff", a new package of two of the exact bulbs I need. Insert bult into socket and turn signal is now fully operational.

Been decades since something was that simple.....

I wish it was that simple now! Not so much on the newer cars.

Thats what I like about working on my mid-year, it is so simple. I have pulled the tranny out, on my back while the car was on jack stands in 50 minutes. It is actually fun to work on. Even rebuilding the steering gear was simple. I just love that car.

Nytro, I enjoy working on my '69 also, but I think the days of laying on my back and bench pressing the transmission are over for me. I have done it four times since I have owned the car and if there is an issue now, I try to find a lift to use!

At lease if a check engine or idiot light comes on,it does not cost a arm and leg to find out whats wrong .Example 02 Tundra had a check engine lite come on .And iook it to mech. and that cost me 350.00 for a simple 02 senor .I would love to have a Midyear in near future
