SAND! And it's sticky too :banghead:

I knew that if you have a Corvette in Florida and want to drive it, it's going to get wet, I even knew that I was going to kill my share of bugs. But I didn't realize that just driving down the street sand gets everywhere. I have a sand box forming under each tail light and the engine gets a layer that has to get blown off. I guess we really do live on a sand bar.

Oh well, got to take the good with the bad, the good still wins

Hah! You should live on a sandy road like we do. Not to mention that our driveway is sand as well. If you think driving on a hard surface road kicks up sand, you haven't seen ANYTHING till you drive on our road..... :hehehe:

Take a look at the C5's The C4 & C6 share a common concave look to the rear facia.

The dirt naturally swirls into the lights and crevases.

Don't see that with the C5.

Just an observation:thumbsup:

And thats a picture into what gets into your engine if you delete the PCV system & run open hoses down from each valve cover....dust, dirt, sand, wator are everywhere & our vettes seem to attract it more than most cars.

Hmm, I wish you would tell that to the dust on my road..... :hehehe:
