I saw at least 3 cardiologists while I was at the hospital.

This all is WAY off topic in a thread entitled "Rain today", but talk about life throwing some real "rainy days" my way...

:no-points-smiley:

If you had a small house i could live in i would throw it all away and come help you guys out and live up there. I am tired of this rat race where i am.

All of my fam died from Heart probs. I mean everyone. I have no one left. My Cholesteral was 250+ for years and i started taking a pill for it the last year to get it down. But otherwise i am fine at 59 years old.

That is awfully kind of you. But our house is actually the small house. Only 1800 square feet. We had it built with the goal in mind of living the rest of our lives here. Which looks like is going to happen sooner than we had hoped. Only one bed room and one bathroom, just enough for us two people. I guess we didn't look far enough ahead to consider that someday we just might need to have someone living with us to get us through these supposed "golden years". In hindsight, maybe we should have done things differently. In hindsight, when we retired, we should have done a LOT of things differently.

Well, since I was in the hospital the last few days of May, I had to extrapolate the figures to figure out the monthly and YTD rain figures.

Total rainfall for May, 2022 = 4.03"

Total rainfall for 2022, as of May 31 = 31.43"

On 06-04 we got 0.56" of rain.

So far today (06-05) we have gotten 1.34".

Apparently not enough to drown the yellow flies, though.

Only about 1.20" for May. Had around .50" since June. Gonna be dry this week.

Nothing here at all. Not even a 1" yet. With a west flow we never get rain right on the gulf. I really hate living here.

Well, two questions:

1) If you had unlimited choices, where would you prefer to live?

2) Why don't you move there now?
