My new 01 Z06...pics!!!!

I just had my new Torch Red 01 Z06 with 5200 miles delivered this past Tuesday after trading in my Torch Red 98 Coupe. I finally got a chance to wash it and take some pictures after some mods were done this past week. I had the 3M clear bra installed, Bassani dual-tip exhaust, lower rear bumper painted gloss black and the car lowered on the stock bolts (1/4" front, 3/4" rear). I also put a black letting kit on the rear, a exhaust plate and chrome license plate bracket. I still need to put on my polished ram air intake and smooth red coupler and a few decals here and there. But for the most part its all complete (for now, lol). Thanks to everyone who helped!!!

Michael

They sound awesome!! At idle they have a nice purr and at full throttle that deep throaty sound. Plus they don't resonate inside the car at all.

Nice car! Really no resonance?

When I had my headers and X-pipe installed, I kept the stock Ti Z06 mufflers in place. I didn't want to go with something aftermarket just in case I decided on those STS twin turbos sometime down the road when I had the coins to think about doing that. Since they replace the mufflers, I would have been throwing money away.

Oh, just in case some of you newer members missed the comparison videos I did a while back, put an ear to this -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forum...hread.php?t=34

That looks sweet Michael!

I really want to get the rear fascia above the exhaust painted too. I love the look. I'm gonna go with spiral gray.

Have you seen this new product on Corvette Forum? It's an overlay for that spot so you don't have to paint it. Retail price is $430 but for all of September it will be $330. I still think I would rather have it painted.

Since your near Tampa are you gonna slide by the Suncoast Corvette Assn Pier Show Sat Sept 2nd? Or the Dimmit show later in Sept? I would like to hear the exhaust if you do. Lookin good!
