GM Delaying Corvette ZR1 Deliveries For Quality Assurance
 

After each new Corvette ZR1 rolls off the assembly line in Bowling Green, it undergoes what is being billed as "extreme quality control" in an attempt to deliver the car to customers as problem free as possible. While some are looking at the delay as a negative, Corvette Product Marketing Manager Harlan Charles tells us that this is just to make sure the ZR1s are as perfect as possible for everyone. Hopefully this is correct. Mine was built on Aug.20th and just got released yesterday (Fri.). I'm headed to the museum on Tuesday 9/9 to pick it up.
