Yeah, I MIGHT be able to get the car out on Monday if there is no more rain. Connie says the road was wet looking this morning, so I don't know.... The roads department, in their infinite wisdom, put a layer of what they called "river mud" over the section of road right through our property to "stabilize" the surface. Which seems fine when it is bone dry. But when it gets wet it becomes, well RIVER MUD.
And it seems to take FOREVER to dry out, whereas just regular sand would have had the water percolate through it a LOT quicker.
Anyway, if not Monday, probably not for a while since more rain is forecast (if you can call it that) for the rest of the week.
