Default Driver's side seat mechanism repair

Back when I had Cass Burch Chevrolet in Quitman, GA put my new clutch in the C5Z, the car was up there for quite a while, and the guy working on it was rather heavy set. Now, the driver seat did have a bit of play in it beforehand, but afterwards, well, now there is a LOT of play. So I am planning on pulling out the seat sometime to take a look to see what I can do to fix that problem. I am also planning on getting new seat covers for the seats, so I am guessing pulling the seats out anyway to put on those seat covers might be the easier way of doing it. So why not kill a couple of birds with the same stone at the same time?

In any event, I have been looking for videos of people working on the seat, to see what I am in for, and so far it doesn't look all that tough. I figure I will put those videos here so I can find them more easily, for reference, and also perhaps they might be helpful for someone else too thinking about doing the same thing.
