Default C6 engine stalls

2006 automatic with 40,200 miles original owner

While driving if I quickly mash the throttle to the floor the car will either stall or the throttle will pulse (like your quickly letting off the gas and hitting it again)

While parked if I punch the throttle quickly the volts drop from 14.2 to around 12.9 and the interior lights go dim.
When the car goes back to idle the volts return to around 14.2

Would this be a bad alternator? Im thinking the engine dies or pulses when I floor it because the alternator cant give the plugs enough spark.
What do you guys think?

Tank of bad gas caused the stalling under throttle. Must have got a little water or a bad batch. Ran the tank dry and filled with Chevron 91 and all is perfect again!

Glad you got it resolved without having to replace any hardware.
