I would die for some real rain. Getting some now. Only had 5" total since the end of Aug.

It rained here HARD all night long last night. My dopey rain gauge only measured 0.04 inches, however. Time to find a new one, I guess.

Yeah, they are calling for 1 to 2 inches of rain in the early AM hours of Friday, and then 2 to 3 inches during the rest of the day.
Maybe I should take the C5Z out for a drive while our road is still dry.

Well, been raining to beat the ban for several hours now, with no letup in sight. No sense even looking at my rain gauge, as it is toast.
At least it doesn't appear to be cold temps on the backside of this storm system.

Darn, wish my rain gauge was working. Rained pretty hard all night long and most of today. Still raining like hell right now. I can see a stream running down our driveway under the carport and in front of the garage. Not a chance I'll be taking any of the vettes out for a ride any time soon. I'm sure our road is a real mess right about now. Might even have the stream on the north end of our road underwater right now. That has happened in the past, and even had the concrete bridge wash out a couple of times.
Well, it was a good day to get on the phone and get some things straightened out that I've put aside for a rainy day.

Yeah, seeing it on the radar. Still raining here too.
Another 38 days and we'll be wishing we had built an ark.

Still light rain now. About 4" so far. Another round coming later next week.
