Noob from cape coral

Sweet!
We get into town on saturday and are going down to naples for the night, not sure if there are any clubs in naples worth checking out. I know of a couple in ft.myers cause I use to DJ at them. I dont even know if they are still open though. I was thinking of hitting the scene that night when we get there then hitting the road around florida to meet up with customers while we are there. if you know a couple people that might want to get together and hangout for awhile and talk vettes, let me know. Im looking into having a couple more people frmo teh forum meet up in Ft.Myers/ CapeCoral for maybe a meet n Greet. we'll see what happens. Your 24? what highschool did you go too? Im a RedKnight! (that might start a war in here...lol) My grandfather was the Algebra teacher there for like 37 years and also the swim coach. (NFMHS)

Im originally from NJ and moved down here when i was about 21. in naples, check out sway, its a good time over there.
down here in ft myers, you want to go to level or venu...probably venu its a good time! (i was just there saturday)
 
I used to have the girls and the partying down (i used to go out about everynight) and show off in my stupid viper and get vip all the time etc. then i met a nice girl and realized i was wasting all of my $...so i stopped...and when you have a gf for a year or so...the other girls start to um...dwindle away. besides she lives with me now...so other girls are out of the question. but if i go out in fort myers...im guaranteed to run into a few i know ;)
 
All the nice girls are in florida! Thats why I was hoping you knew a couple. The girls up here are..................................:shrug01::banghead::thumbsdown::mad::confused::toetap05: dont know what to say about them...lol no good... I miss the southern bells tahts all.
CANT WAIT FOR FLORIDA!

I just did a google and you kinda set yourself up for failure with that one.. you dont date *stars*..... everyone knows that.. Thats not someone I would ever take home to Mom so i couldnt date her..lol. Glad you found a good girl now!

i think more she was a bad influence on me...thats why i kicked her out...its funny. ups picks up here everyday. so one day i packed her stuff and sent it to cali...and said peace out...that was over a year ago. best decision i ever made :)

If you know anyone selling a 1970 Blk/Blk/Blk vert, give me a heads up cause I think I will be in the market soon. I want my own vette instead of driving one of the owners cars all the time.. I would like to have "My Own" and that is my favorite.
 
a day late...lol not really...more like a few years...
correct me if im wrong...but my uncle had a 70 stingray!? i believe 70 was the year when the vette workers went on strike and there were less of them? (i could have the wrong year, but i swore it was a white, auto stingray) it was a really nice car. i wouldnt mind driving one either

That is one of the reasons I want that specific year, but I really enjoy the lines and the year, Not that I was even thought about, but I still like the year..lol
 
ah ha! thanks for bringing me to school. he said the way it was optioned made it the rarest of that year as well. he had all kinds of toys (original shelby cobra...gt350...that sorta stuff) 2 original hemi cudas...its what got me into cars when i was little

anytime....lol.. Im a big fan of the GT350! my ex's dad has one all original! the thing is the balls! My Ol'man got me into cars even though we dont get along that much, Im stuck loving the classics now.. hey there isnt any shows going on while I am down there is there? I know that they use to have a big meet in front of the autoparts store on 41 over by boyscout drive back in the day, but Im not sure anymore.

its just a big rice meet weds and sat nights on 41 by costco.

lucky for you, my parents never drove anything fun....i had to figure it all out myself.

My ol'man didnt have anything special, just a 71 nova that he thought was "The fastest car in the world...." lol He got me into racing go carts though. those were fun!
Ill go to the rice meet with the Impala SS Ill be driving, and Ill smoke them all!! lol... Rice meets... :brick2:

had a little run in with a brand new gsxr 750 last night...was right next to him...(makes me want to decat the car and change out the headers...just so i can pull a nose on him :)) those bikes have gone 10.50's at 135ish out of the factory...so i dont feel so bad.
 
Doesnt that suck? I hate how a 9k bike can beat a 60k car! That really erks me. I use to make fun of people that would spend that much time on a car and My CBR 929 would blow them away out of the gate.... Then I realized that I would much rather have a vette then a bike. I would rather put the work into it myself then having it that fast frmo the factory. even though I love to Wheelie!
 
i've never driven a bike before, but i feel much safer in a car...much more stable at speed....especially a corvette...not so aerodynamically challenged.

i figure for 480whp its not bad. when i unclog this thing it should be around 530-550ish...so next time when i race him without a passenger and a full tank of gas, i think it would have a different outcome. (not to mention i spun 2nd...part of 3rd...and took it through 4th...i didnt have enough balls to hit 5th, i was done.
