• Got the Contributing Memberships stuff finally worked out and made up a thread as a sort of "How-To" to help people figure out how to participate. So if you need help figuring it out, here's the thread you need to take a look at -> http://www.corvetteflorida.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3581 Thank you, everyone! Rich Z.

Wassup!!!
:dancer01: So we hopped in the Vette at about 9:30 this FINE morning, with the intention of heading to the Webster flea market (There's a vendor there that sells fine quality hammocks).
Anyway, somewhere along the way we ended up taking a detour to Crystal River, then said what the heck, why not just go to Cedar Keys.
Although there wasn't much happening there today, we still enjoyed it (our first visit). The food was great, the Beer was cold and we even :wavey: at another Vette while there. (just doing our part)

Talk to ya's later,

~Ray

I wish I had a vert sometimes. I would hate it from about May to the beginning of October though.

I've considered the Carvaggio targa kit they cut into the Z06 roof,,, makes it similiar to a coupe with the removeable top. Biggest hold up is the dough involved......

Alan, I love the targa kit from Caravaggio too. What is it, something like 7,000 bucks? Wish I had the extra money to spend. :yesnod:

I had a convertible top on my '66 GTO that I mad many years ago. I rarely ever put the top down. And I have a '98 Jeep Wrangler that I bought brand new that has NEVER had the top down.

I guess I'm just not all that keen on a convertible, for some reason.... :shrug01:

Well, I suppose it comes in handy if you want to blow all of the debris out of it now and again. :rofl1: Kind of similar to the Wakulla County method of trash disposal: Throw all the trash into the back of the pickup, put the tailgate down, and drive around until it is all gone.... :lmao:

I've got a convertible Z28 and put the top down a lot in the evening, and around this time of year when it's cool out. During the summer days it never goes down...too hot!!!
It looks great too. I love my vert but when I get my next vette. it'll be a targa like the 87...but easier to take off:thumbsup:
