The weekend following the attack, we had a reptile show up in Maryland that we had to drive to. It was darn weird not seeing ANY air traffic at all. And I'll be honest about it, I made a point of keeping my eyes averted from Washington D.C. when we got within a 100 miles of it. I figured if things were going to escalate and a nuclear attack took place, I certainly didn't want to be looking towards the place most likely to be target #1.
Amazingly enough the show did REAL well. I thought everyone would stay home hunkering under their beds. Go figure.... The world seemed to be crashing down and people STILL wanted to spend money on snakes.
