FS: 07 Z06 LSX, F1A, RPM Level 6, Pfadt, 827hp
Asking $54000
Recently tuned by Jeremy Formato: 827hp/807tq (703rwhp/688rwtq)
Boost: 11lbs
Cylinder compression: 1-150/2-150/3-155/4-150/5-150/6-145/7-155/8-150
Originally built by LG Motorsports as a Twin Turbo, but the turbos and exhaust manifold ran warm and I never had cold A/C. I switched to a Procharger F-1A and its now chilly in 95 degree humid Florida weather. About 6000 miles on the LSX. A little over 13000 miles on the odometer. It runs awesome, but I never have time to drive it because I need my truck much of the week, and my son plays travel ball all year round. Sad to say, I never did the racing I wanted to do. I drive the car to work, twice a week. This engine can take up to 2500 HP, and the RPM Level 6 will handle over 1000 HP. It has only 13000 miles. This is a no-expense-spared build. The costs listed are estimates, including parts and labor. The true costs are higher than listed. It pains me to list the mods, but, here we go:
Engine: LG Motorsports built GMPP LSX, LG Custom forged pistons, Callies Racemaster forged crankshaft, Callies rods, balanced rotating assembly, LG forced induction camshaft, Katech timing chain, custom injectors ($14000)
Fuel system: LG forced induction custom setup with dual external Bosch fuel pumps and in-fender fuel surge tank, Snow Methanol injection ($8000). Supports 1500 HP. (Refer to my photo showing the system as depicted on the LG Motorsports website).
Intake: Fast LSX-R intake manifold ($1200)
Heads: LSX7 6 bolt Heads, polished/ported/flow matched, ARP Moly Head Studs ($6000)
Electrical: 230 amp DC Power alternator, custom color ($500)
Power Adder: Procharger F-1A, 8 rib drive, 4” pulley, Enclosed Race Bypass Valve ($11000).
Transmission: RPM Transmissions Level 6 TR6060 with ZR1 5th gear ($6500)
Driveshaft: Driveshaft Shop Carbon Fiber driveshaft ($1500)
Clutch: McLeod RXT dual disc ($1800)
Exhaust: American Racing Headers 1 7/8”, HPC Ceramic coated headers/midpipe/x-pipe ($2800)
Cooling: G2 Super Cool radiator, Dual Spal fans, High Output Water Pump ($2000)
Tires: Nitto NT05R 345/30R-19 Drag Radials. Lots of tread left.
Suspension: Complete Pfadt setup: Engine mounts, transmission mount, Heavy rate racing sway bars,Poly control arm bushings, Drag racing coilovers ($7400)
Notables:
---Front line lock (currently disabled
---Boost Gauge
---LG shifter
---4/6 point roll cage (I cut off the side bars for convenience, but its ready to convert back to 6 point)
---G Force Pro Series Racing Harness
---New battery. New K&N filter. New Amsol oil change
-There are three blemishes that I show in the photobucket photos. The right front fender has a thin 4" scrape, but it just looks worse in the picture than in person. A small scratch on the rear near the emblem and on the rear near the Corvette embossing. These are quite minor.
-The clutch is easy and smooth. Precise shifting. Sweet cam lope.
-Stock exhaust sounds menacing with this motor. There is more horsepower available in the exhaust since it has stock mufflers and a resonator to quiet her down.
-The engine is built and ready to handle whatever you want thrown its way.
I see some other nicely built Vettes here on the classifieds, but note that this has a full Pfadt setup and a RPM Level 6 tranny. And, much lower miles.
Sorry, no trades.
Go to my photobucket library for all the photos, dyno history, and receipts.
