The Mosaic Co. said Monday that it will buy the phosphate business of CF Industries Inc. in a deal worth more than $1.2 billion.Under the agreement, the Plymouth-based fertilizer company will acquire CF's 22,000-acre South Pasture phosphate mine and a related facility in Plant City, Fla., as well as warehouses and an ammonia terminal in Tampa.
