Looks like rain passing through for the next 10 days or so, according to the forecast. Percentage chances of rain hovering between 42 and 58 percent every day.
We got some rain today, 0.22 inches.
Rain has been good for the fruit trees. In fact, TOO good in one case. One of the asian pear trees is so loaded with fruit that branches are snapping off from the weight. I know I should go out there and prune off some of them, but just don't have the energy to be climbing up and down a ladder doing that. I guess if all the branches snap off, that will just have to be the way it is this year.

0.88" of rain today.
Worked out well, as we got half the rain this morning, and then after I put a bunch of little pumelo citrus plants Connie was growing from seed into the ground, we got some more rain to water them in nicely. I had to get them into the ground, because they were just in little cups in a bit of peat moss, so they were either too wet or too dry most of the time. We just couldn't keep up with them with everything going on around here. I already killed about a dozen of them, and it pained me every time I looked at them.

We got 0.64" today. Looks like we have more rain coming through the next week or so. Close to 50 percent chance or more up to the 22nd of this month if the forecast can be believed.
Humidity has been murder....

Just got 2 mins of rain this AM. They are tiny pop corn showers that move so fast they can't even wet the dirt. It is total powder it is so dry. We need like 12" in a weeks time to make up for the year.
