It does seem that the general forecast in some areas of Florida is "Severe drought conditions, with widely scattered flooding."

Connie was outside this morning and she says she didn't see even one yellow fly the entire time. Maybe they all drowned or got beaten to death by the rain yesterday.

We got 0.47" more rain on Saturday.

I guess if we get in the mode of raining every day, mosquitoes will be entering the stage pretty soon.

Not to mention that our getting a new roof installed might be a problem considering rain showers.

We got 0.55" of rain today. Had a brief shower yesterday that only amounted to 0.05".

0.56" of rain today. Looks like we will be in for more over the next several days.

Not sure what is going to happen with the new roof install scheduled for Monday. I think it will get called off on account of rain.

Yeah, it looks like it is moving out, but according to ventusky.com there will be storms coming through here nearly every day next week.

I am not sure what the roofers will do. Will they work in between rain storms, or just call the day a washout? If it is raining here, pretty much it would likely be raining elsewhere nearby, so I don't think going to a different job would work out well for them. But I just don't know how they will work this out.

We cleared out the stuff underneath the carport in front of the house, so they could store the metal roll former there out of the rain.

Honestly, they couldn't have picked a worst week (so far) to plan on doing the roof. But that is usually how my luck works out. I'm just hoping they don't damage something else doing the roof as seems to be standard for just about anyone else who has ever done any work around here.
