Car is located 20 minutes north of Huntsville, AL.

I bought the car on 7 March 2012 from Dimitt Chevy, in Clearwater, FL. It had 19,838 original miles and showed Oil and Oil Filter changed with Mobil 1 Synthetic and OEM Delco filter at 19,800 miles. The paint showed signs of sitting out in hot Florida sun and not much love (reason for paint job listed below). Here’s the history of car since I have owned it:

7 March 2012 purchased car from Dimitt Chevy, Clearwater, FL 19,838 miles.

8 March 2012 changed anti-freeze fluid, clutch fluid, brake fluid, and Power Steering fluid at 20,450 miles.

9 March 2012 installed 4 new tires, Firestone Fire Hawks, at 20,478 miles.

20 June 2012 changed Rear differential fluid and Transmission fluid with AMSOIL at 21,350 miles.

1 July 2012 changed valve springs with LS6 Valve Spring Kit from Summit (preventative maintenance), valve cover gaskets, NGK spark plugs, and spark plug wires, at 21,402 miles.

27 July 2012, changed oil and oil filter, used Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w30 and OEM Delco filter. Also changed oil drain plug. 21,611 miles.

18 Oct 2012, Lloyd’s Z06 floor mats.

12 Nov 2012, tinted windows, by Down East Auto Accents, Fayetteville, NC.

March 2013 Painted at Bo’s Hot Rod and Restoration in Sanford, NC (kept original black color). Replaced windshield, windshield molding, driver and passenger window weather strip, trunk weather strip, hood and trunk badges, fender z06 badges, DRL/parking lamps, reveal molding left and right, sill protector left and right.

11 Aug 2013, 26,756 miles, changed oil and filter, Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic, Delco PF46E oil filter.

December 2013 replaced driver’s and passenger’s sun visors. Replaced seat foam in driver’s seat.

1 Sep 2014, 29,084 miles, changed oil and filter, Mobile 1 5w-30 synthetic, Delco PF46 oil filter.

7 Jun 2015, 31,200 miles, K&N 33-2111 air filter.

10 Oct 2015, 31,612 miles, changed oil and filter, Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic, Delco PF46 oil filter.

23 Oct 2016, 33,183 miles, changed oil and filter, Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic, Delco PF46E oil filter.

20 Apr 2017 replaced left head light gear. Used improved metal gear instead of OEM plastic.

15 Jan 2018, 34,814 miles, changed oil and filter, Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic, Delco PF-46E oil filter.

15 Jan 2018, 34,832 miles, changed brake fluid, clutch fluid, power steering fluid.

17 Mar 2019, 35,612 miles, changed oil and filter, Mobil 1 5w-30 synthetic, Delco PF-46E oil filter.

22 Mar 2019, 35,672 miles, complete coolant exchange. Landers McLarty Chevy, Huntsville, AL.

29 Mar 2019 35,743 miles, Transmission fluid changed. Landers McLarty Chevy, Huntsville, AL.

29 Mar 2019 35,743 miles, Rear Differential changed. Synthetic 75/140. McLarty Chevy, Huntsville, AL.

24 April 2020 36,658 miles changed oil and filter, Mobil 15w-30 synthetic, Delco PF-46E oil filer.

2 Oct 2020 36,911 miles new Continental Extreme Contact tires. F 275/40/17 R 295/35/18. Mavis Tire Huntsville, AL.

23 May 2021, 37,330 miles changed oil and filter. Mobil 15w-30 synthetic, Delco PF-46E oil filter.

Mechanical:
Everything in the car is operational. Mostly been a weekend car or “Friday” drive to work car, however it has done fine on longer trips, Fayetteville, NC to Huntsville, AL (1020-mile round trip) as well as trips from Columbia SC and back to Huntsville, AL (800-mile round trip) with no issues. As seen above I changed oil and filter once a year whether it needed it or not. Has a slight oil seep, it doesn’t leave any drips on the floor. It may be an upper pan gasket or the oil pressure sensor, both common leak locations. Oil pressure is great, and seep hasn’t bothered me enough to locate and fix. It looks good, runs great, and has not been abused. Car has been slightly lowered on stock lowering bolts.

Exterior:
As stated above the car was painted in 2013. The paint is in very good shape. Not a show car but she cleans up very nice. A few very small chips and light scratches. Upon close inspection under artificial light, you can see markings under the paint on the roof caused by the bonding agents used at the factory when the car was built. It's due to where the body panels are glued together there on the roof. Pretty much all FRC's and Z06's have them or will get them eventually, some worse than others. Interior:
Interior is in great shape. Stock Bose AM/FM/CD (single) fully operational. A/C fully operational, blows cold air. Electric seat positioning fully operational. Cruise is operational, HUD is operational, at times after sitting in very bright sunlight and hot temperature in parking lot, the HUD display will flicker momentarily but has always come back on. Also has removable custom storage box and trunk divider behind seats. Original manual and case in glove box. Feel free to ask any questions.
