How to put 4 cars in a 3 car garage

Since my daughter Liz is off to Purdue, her car was just sitting in the driveway. So I put it on a shelf in the garage.

Yeah, Connie has been saying she wants a garage built here. Not quite so easy since we are smack dab in the middle of the woods....

Very cool. It must be a trustworthy shelf too, it looks like the nose of your 'vette is tucked right up under it.:yesnod:

Hey Ray,

Whatever size garage you decide to build, make it bigger! You will never make it big enough. We built our house in Maryland 21 years ago and not many people back then were building 3 car garages. So I built a 24' deep by 36' wide garage with 3 individual garage doors! Not enough! The last 5 years or so I would put car skates under the wheels of the Vettes and slide them sideways for the winter in order for me to get my truck out of the winter weather. I was then able to get 4 vehicles in a 3 car garage. Worked fine for me because the Vettes were put away for the winter anyway.

When we built the house in Florida, I designed it with a 4 car, 24 deep by 48 wide with four individual doors. I thougt that would be enough. Well, then I stumbled across the '04 Z06 CE and had to have it. Now I am 5 vehicles and only 4 garages. Never enough!

So, if you are going to build it, make sure you make it bigger than you think you need it. :yesnod: Remember this motto, ..too much garage space does not exist!

Good luck with your project!

Rich
