Rain today

I got rain on Wednesday, but no idea how much. I was puzzled because it rained all day long, but the rain gauge stayed at 0.01". Well, I checked the gauge yesterday and found some sort of seed jammed into it, blocking the water flow. Oh well..

Simplicity overcome by technology. Gotta love it, right?
 
We got just over 3/4 of an inch. Looks like it's pretty much over. Pollen is starting up already, my vehicles have a golden glow, Spring is almost here.
 
We had steady rain here too the kind that just drags on all afternoon and makes everything feel slower. On days like that I usually stay in and find something light to pass the time, sometimes even quick browser games like PK365 Game while waiting for the weather to clear. At least the rain cools things down a bit and gives the plants a break from the heat.
