Team Corvette at Sebring

How about those Corvettes at Sebring. They kicked the He77 out of that Aston :dancer01:
Not sure what happened to Lou G in the GT2 class :shrug01:

Deb and I watched the race on and off all day, glad to see the vettes in GT1 first and second, but GT2 wasn't as lucky.

Hey ya all, what a race for sure...........was w/ lou

Was w/ the #28 Corvette team of lou. (still do some engineering on the side)
As for the 28 car.........it held it's own holding around 9th, however engine over heating was a constant problem, and the further the race went the more it was evident chances of making it to the end were slim.
Good new's is Corvette under the private section is making a real stab at GT2 car's.
Hope to see more of the former Trans AM driver's and owner's come to GT2 and start taking out a few more Lizards.

Yea the Audi took one Flying Lizard Porche out with a blatant shove into the tire wall near turn three. It reminded me of the Acura P2 car that ran Corvette's Jan Magnussen into the wall at Road Atlanta last year.

Oh heck yeah...what a race. All I gotta say is "go Johnny go." A record 7 wins at Sebring. Just awesome.

H**l YA! What a great ass wippin Johnny gave em.

Not just Johnny, but Ron still has it as well. And hey guy's, Max sure did his part as well.
I do give credit to Aston Martin fella's as well. At least they came rather than hidding out as was the case last year.
And had the LeMans folks in charge NOT have pilled it on Team Corvette as they did, and did so at the very last minute, you know Dough Fehan would've found the time to engineer the vettes to put another woooopin on the Martin's.
Hat off to my old friends in Corvette. Especially to Danny Binks too.
NASCAR boy's been tryin to steel him away for the past few year's................but his love for Corvette and his Team are as forever as LOYAL to Doug and the Corvette fan's.
Don't know that any of them read our CORVETTEFLORIDA.COM web site, but this is one old Chevrolet engineer retired that remember's many many great year's with these boy's. Co Do's to both Teams.:dancer01:

And to give them (Aston) more props, I believe they are a privateer team this year and not the factory backed team as in the past ("sanction the Vettes or we won't race them") {See my avatar to the left}

Your correct again Z06 Rocket

Yes the Aston team is a private team that raced this year.
Takes a ton of money to race against factory backed teams, and why I was real happy to see Lou run GT2 this year.
Don't know about everyone else, but I still remember the taste of crow from the YEAR'S of Porsche dominating the circuit's, but how they rubbed our nose's in the dirt...Vettes were no match for them.....well that was then and this is now our play ground, and our ballroom dance.
"IF YOU CAN'T KEEP UP WITH THE BIG DOG'S, STAY ON THE PORCH"

Oh heck yeah. It certainly takes a HUGE team effort to pull off a win at Sebring much less any other race in the ALMS or LeMans. Team Corvette's entire crew is just a bunch of outstanding people. I always hang out at the Corvette trailers after the race to BS with a few of the guys...it's always a blast.
