Default Solo Sunday Morning / Pics

Well wasn't sure about driving this weekend. Vicki had an accident and wasn't sure if she could get out . I drove up to Insty Tune alone on Saturday Afternoon, Pics under Insty.
This morning, Vicki could get around some so we eased her in the Vette and off we went. Most of are Sunday drives have been with a Gulf View so today it was cow hunting. We drove inland and wow was it great. Even driving on St Rt 70 no traffic.

With some cloud cover it was nice with the top off

We left about 8:30 this morning and headed east. I took Vicki by this well known landmark in the Corvette World

Yep this is the residence of Joe & Deb. It was early and everything looked quiet here.
This was the first time I traveled on any of thee back roads. I thought I was heading south but after 50 minutes of driving the secondaries I was back on St Rt 70 in Desoto county. So much for my sense of direction. It was driving alone, no other cars any where. I would say we drove one stretch for 70 minutes and saw only 2 motorcycles and 1 car. This included some on Rt 70.
Another landmark we stumbled upon

Beyond this gate and the first place on the right is Corvette Concepts, I should have have stopped and asked why they never responded to my emails.
When driving through Hidden River Development " everyone we passed
Went by a facility for Higher Education

Found a nice shady spot

Some pics of a nice lazy river

We decided to stop for lunch on our way back. I ate here before with another group that I'll keep Anonymous

Even having no clue where we were and driving under 40 MPH (wouldn't dare go faster on some of the roads we were on) it turned out to be a great trip even though there was only one Vette. Saw some cows, but sorry didn't think to get any photos of them.
