Yep, there are now many professors that are VERY well off, or no longer researching in the Gulf of Mexico. Many no longer in the US at all. The birds are probably back due to the red tide being gone. Birds avoid those like the plaque. Probably also the cause of your skin conditions. Red tide is VERY nasty stuff. Really most of the BP related stuff shouldn't effect us swimming in the Gulf at this point...unless you are diving at the bottom of the effected areas...which you can't dive down to. I hope to have more info for you this weekend. My wife really is brilliant at this stuff...and why I know what I now know.
