Went to see this movie with the family this weekend. My reaction is best summarized as "I spent money on this?" The animation was pretty good, but the story didn't seem very well written. I would say that it was boring, but then again it's barely an hour long. Didn't stop it from putting my dad to sleep a few times.

Besides that, there were several blaring discrepancies in the time line. Like how people with tech from 1917 could build an AI. Or how all the humans can be dead, but this professor guy is like 1/4 mile from the machine's HQ and alive for the first 10 minutes. Or how all these dead humans managed to shut down the "brain" robot by stealing this amulet thing, but the brain robot was still able to make other robots for what seemed like a few years while the professor made his little doll things.

If you want to see this one, I would most certainly wait for it to come out as a $5 rental.
