As a founding member of a club in Columbus, Ohio, we joined NCCC in 1968 and started autocrossing. For the next 17 years I raced, rallied and showed but after 17 years it started to get too expensive. I started seeing all that rubber left on the track and with the price of these new tires!!!!
Have fun, it is a real test of ones driving ability and you will find that there is less temptation to do it on the highways.
