Loose door panels on a 95 Vette
I have broken panel clips on the top portion of both door panels. The chevy dealership informs me the vinyl panels are "warped" and needs to be replaced but visually, they look find. The panels for the 95 model have been discontinued.
Are there panel clips available for purchase or do you have any other suggestion on resolving this problem?

check Eckler's and the like most all the C4 trim is discontinued from GM. the top of the panels do warp from pulling the door closed and pressure from the window. good luck with your search

There is a great fix for this. There are two places you can screw the panel to the top of the door. The screws will be totally hidden unless you look down into the door panel when the window is down. I'll try to remember to take pics of mine when I get a chance. The only draw back that I found, is if your window motor happens to go out it's a nightmare to get the screws out with the window up so you can pull the panel off. It's doable though...

Are you screwing through the top portion of the panel? Let me know, because I'm interested in getting this prescription.

Yep, two screws at the top of each panel. You can't see it and works like a champ. GM should have thought of this in the first stinking place. I should have time to take a few shots after work today.

Sorry, I totally forgot. Now I've got my camera, but the vette is at home. Writing note now to remember to take a couple of shots when I get home.
