Hey Chris, not to hijack the thread, but I've got Falken tires on my ride as well, and just wanted to ask you if yours are noisy. My car is noisy, and I don't know if it's just the nature of the coupe or if there's something I should be checking.
Thanks,
Andy

No sweat,
mine are not noisy at all,i mean with the windows down or top yea i can hear them on the road but they dont make a "wherring" sound as if the were wearing down on one side or something. How is your alignment?
This is my second set of Falkens, had them on another car before. Toyos on the other hand i thought were kinda noisy.

Haven't had the alignment checked. Bought the car 2500 miles/9 months ago, and am trying to get the noise figured out. I don't know if it's a balance problem, alignment, wheel bearing, or what, but I get a wha-wha-wha-wha-wha
that increases in speed with an increase in tire speed. Having never owned a Vette before, nevermind a coupe, I'm at a loss as to what's making the noise. I've been told that coupes are noisy, but I don't know about this. Not a grinding, just the noise described above. 60 year old ears abused by rifle and pistol fire make it difficult to pinpoint the source. The tires don't appear to be cupped though, and the noise SEEMS to be coming from the rear.

Just my .02...
Do you feel any shaking or wobbling in your seat (ass) when your driving? Even just a little bit?
Sounds to me like your tires are out of balance (in the rear end). This happens all of the time, even know you may have just had the balanced.
Correct me if i'm wrong anyone...but if it's the Alignment, wouldn't you feel it in the steering wheel.? Furthermore...you could have a tire thats "out of round" or "flat on one side" from not being stored properly.
Again...I'll leave this open to Nytro of someone else who's more qualified .
