Been snapping a few pics over the past few days of some critters we found here and there on our property.
Seems this little guy bit off a bit more than he can chew with this grasshopper:
This one hangs out on the apron in front of the garage, so we've got to be constantly shooing her out of the way whenever I take the blue vette out for a ride.
Here's one of her younger siblings who is, so far, just hanging out on block on a stump near the garage.
Found this little gray rat snake over near one of the mosquito magnets. There was another one on the porch a few days later, but not sure it was the same one.
I don't really know what sort of mantis this is, but they are really cool looking critters. Don't see them very often, but I'm sure there are a LOT more out there than we see.
And we found this treefrog inbetween two buildings sitting on a palm frond:
