Well I just returned from the Beach Caravan in Panama City put on by the Circle City Corvette Club in Dothan Al.I have posted a few pics of our display of cars and number 001 of the 505 to be built Wil Cooksey ZO6 and a new 2009 ZO6.I recently drove a 2008 ZO6 and after testing out the 2009 I can tell you it will have a better ride and handling package. GM has redesigned the rear A-arm geometry, revalved the shocks and altered the the rear spring design.GM has also shortened the torque tube by 1 inch which also moves the trans axle forward an inch, this is supposed to help eliminate the wheel hop while launching the car or while braking and down shifting. The GM designer who rode with me was a little nervous as we took a curve at about 100 to 110 and very quickly accelerated to 145 on a short strait.
Thanks for sharing the pics. I'm glad they did something for the ride quality with the '09. I'd heard the ride was pretty harsh, even more so than the C-5 Z's.

08 Z I drove rode great. Softer than my Z51 96 which is not bad to me.
My 08 427 Limited Editon Z06 rides as well as my 2005 C6 rode in Sport Mode using the F55 Magnetic Ride Control. My wife was very surprised with the comfort of the Z06 ride, as was I.

I drove a 2008 ZO6 that morning on the same road and the 09 has a better and softer feel in the rear due to the shorter torque tube and rear shock package and reconfigured rear A-Arm geometry.
