CAI, What do you have?

I've been searching for sometime now and I must say... I'm still not sure what's the best for me. Decisions...Decisions!
I've got a C6 and i'm looking for more HP, more so on the lower end (0-60),
and just better overall performance (over the stock cai).

Help me out here!

So, what do you have, and what are the positives or negatives that you've noticed from your CAI?
1)HP gains?
2)Installation (hard or easy)?
3)Accessability (to clean)?
4)Does it affect the cars warranty?
5)Any Water inhalation from your system?
6)Whining when driving (can you hear the difference)?
7)Regrets?
8)Catch all..Basically any difference you've noticed after you've installed your CAI?

Hi Ray,
I can't help you specifically but I would talk to Dave aka Gannet or AntiVenom about exactly what you are looking for. I know Dave has done several mods and minces no words about the good, the bad, and the ugly! Where have I heard that before? Kinda has a Hollywood twang to it!

I remember Dave suggested an intake to me a while back, but I forgot which (i'm thinking he suggested Callaway)? . I've so much reading up on them and see that they're all the "best"!

PARTY... We we going to hold off because, we were thinking about putting in a new pool. But now we've decided against it.
Anyhow, i'll get with Angel (TX Momma), and then throw a few dates out to you all, and we'll see what's good!

Hi Ray, Yeah I think Dave put in Honkers CAI. Ho went over in great detail on a thread I put out on 1-22-07titled "Where to start Mods". Maybe the info in that thread may help steer you in the direction you want to go. Mark

Yeah, go get a Callaway. They're $100 cheaper for the C6 than the C5.

We ended up driving through Weirsdale today after the Museum. Did you hear us go bye? Put on another couple hundred, went up through Ocala Nat'l Forest.
