Default Glue on body

Some time ago I installed Corvette lettering on the bumper of the Vette.
One day, while drying the car, the towel got caught on the end of the letters and picked them up. I tried different methods to glue them back on with no satisfaction. I snipped the end off so it did not look so bad until I buy new letters. The problem is that I can't get the glue (crazy glue) off the car.
Any recommendations on what to use to get if off without damage to the paint? Pictures included. Thanks, Lou

OUCH ! There is a product that removes superglue, I think you can find it at Walmart along with the superglue. I think I have used acetone to remove superglue.

If the goo gone or rubbing alcohol dont work, can always try some gas on cotton swabs. Had to use gas before to remove some electrical tape on a previous vehicles paint, after it sat in the summer heat for a couple days.

I wouldn't use Goo Gone on a painted surface.

Use some 3M Adhesive Remover and a q-tip it will not harm the clear coat.

I couldn't find the 3M Adhesive remover. Tried at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, an Auto Parts Store and Sears to no avail so I bought the Crazy Glue remover.
Worked fine. Had to apply the remover about seven or eight times but the glue came off and best of all, no harm to the paint.
Thanks again.
