Default Replacing the A/C Compressor

The A/C quit blowing cold on the way to Punta Gorda Saturday.
I had it checked out. They installed the conversion kit to eliminates the old style of freon and then found that the compressor and evaporator need to be replaced.
I found a company just north of me in Port Orange called A-Air. They have the compressor for $325. I think that is a good price.
Their website is http://www.a-aironline.com
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

$325 installed? If so, I'd pay that! If not...i'd still pay for their part and have it installed, It still seems reasonable.

Firestone wanted over $700 for the compressor and over $300 for the evaporator. I just ordered them both form A-Air for $450 including tax & shipping. They are south of Daytona, so I should get them on Tuesday.

Steve (or anyone else for that matter), where is a good place to have the A/C system checked out (Dunedin area)? The last time I was in Florida, the output from the A/C was just barely cool. It gut-feels like low "freon", but I would like to get it checked out top to bottom so that I've only gotta put it in for repairs one time. If it IS low on freon, it had to get out somehow! Anyone know of a shop that "specializes in" or "knows intimately" C5 A/C systems?

I used the local Firestone store. i know them and trusted them. Unfortunately the one that I go to is here in Palm Bay on the Space Coast.
