More Exhaust Questions
Today I was able to listen to the Borla Stinger (thanks Deb) and I also was able to listen to a set of BB Bullets. I actually didn't think the bullets were too bad. Is the a system in between and right know I'm leaning towards the Bullets.
Also looking for a place fairly close to Bradenton for the install. The only days I'm free are weekends. Joe, I checked the store in Sarasota and they are closed on weekends.
Thanks

Rick, they do enough business during the week they can close shop for the weekend. So you have decided on the bullits, good call on that, I think those give a nice rumble.

Rick,
I havent hear the Route 66 B&B's, but I have heard Jim Kills Bullet's on his C5 and WOW!!! Very aggressive! I'm not sure however, if he has headers or not though. Me, I took a chance on the Magnaflow Magnapacks (dual tips) w/x-pipe.
I hadn't seen or heard anyone's, but I like being different (and the price was good) So I went for it. I must say, I was and am still impressed!
The sound, IMO is right between the B&B's and Corsa's, but leaning more towards the B&B's.
Sorry, I haven't really had a chance to listen to the Borla Stingers to give you an opinion or any information on them.
Good Luck with your decision and have fun shopping.
~Ray

Exhaust...I'm ready, but....
Where can I find the "drop dead" lowest price and from where...for the Borla Stingers #11744? Can someone post a link?
Heard most of what is posted at car meets, etc. I'm pretty much sold on the Borla's (for my '06 VR convert).
Any suggeestions for an '82 coupe and Collectors??

I searched at least 10 different places and most had this same price($1,176.99), but only a few had Free Shipping.
Maybe someone can beat this price???

Jack, I had my Stingers installed for $1100+tax at Corvettes West down in Sarasota. I know that is a long way from Titusville but there's my .02! I got an email that Eclkers is having a big sale on July 14th along with their Casino Cruise. You might check with them.

Thanks dudes!!
Got Borla Stingers from Maryland for $1079, no tax, free shipping. Already checked with my local Vette shot and I'll get the system installed for a 'buck and a half'.
Not bad I think.
Thanks for all the inputs as well...made the search that much easier and the choices many!
In about 2 weeks I should have a Vette that Mustangs should 'bow' to!

BB Bullets
Hey C5Rick, I have an 07 convertible w/BB Bullets on them. Here's a small video clip to listen to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vlYD_gLdro#GU5U2spHI_4
I had the Bullets on my 01 and 04 convertible 6 speed cars and loved them. Very aggressive, slight drone with top up ( but who drives with the top up?) @ 40-45. Sweet music when up shifting especially when you lean into it and great sounds downshifting; like a C6R, loves to burble and pop!!!
NOT FOR THE FAINT AT HEART!!!
BTW: AJUSA.com online carries them for $895 plus Free shipping to your doorstep. If you have access to a lift, it takes about an hour to swap them out!
