New to the forums
Hi everybody! I'm Matt and I'm new to the forums. I'm part of EFI Alchemy in Jacksonville. We specialize in LSx tuning and building. I don't own a corvette, yet... I have a 2000 Z28 and love it to death but would love to have a C6 as a daily driver. One of the other guys in the shop has a 99 FRC and is currently building a single 76mm turbo setup with a 6lt iron block. His goal is to make it a 9sec daily driver.

to the Forum. There's alot of really nice decent folks here. A 9 second daily driver is quite a project. Show pics please as you proceed with this car. I hope you will find the C6 you want soon. There's alot of good deals out there. Don't be afaraid to ask on the Forum either.

Welcome!
Yeah, a 9 second daily driver would be interesting. Really stiff gearing would help, but it would be a bear on gas mileage... No guarantees that we won't see $4 per gallon in the future.
Hope you find that C6 you are looking for. I think the deals are out there if you just have patience and wait for exactly what you want.

Kinda curiuos though. Why not the LSX block? I mean it's suppose to take up to 2500, HP is it not? Nearly bullet proff bottom end, , right?

Yes the LSx block would be a dream to have but, the LSx Block is 3k + machining and we got the 6.0 for like $50. Price was right and we can achieve the same results.
