[C3] Maybe a tranny swap to a 5 or 6 speed

OK just shoot me for even thinking of such a thing but tell me about swaps to 5 and 6 speed manuals in place of my 4 speed.

I want to maintain a totally stock look from above but would love the gear ratios of a 5 or 6 speed.

What kind of experiences have ya'll had? I could care less about more power, heck Tracy has given me more horses then I can ride but a really close ratio smooth 6 speed would be sweet........
