My vote goes to route 98 from Ochlockonee Bay to Pensacola.

I second that! It's beautiful, especially at sunrise or sunset.

SR 13 from Palatka to Jacksonville. Mature trees that were allowed to stay in the ROW of a state road and riverviews all the way.
I also like SR 19 through the forest.
I use to travel these two roads traveling between Sebring and Jacksonville

For me state rd 42 from DeLand to Lady Lake, trees, curves and not many patrol cars.

Route 1
Route 1 goes almost the entire length of Florida on the east coast side of the state. Its four lane, but a 'comfortable' four lane. It reminds me of Florida's version of Route 66...with those quirky small town sites you come across...and Route 1 has those and then some!

Had to go to Jacksonville yesterday on business and decided to take 301 South on the way back once I got to Gainsville. This is a good route to take for a drive multilane divided but rolling hills and horse farms everywhere.

Heres one of those quirky signs in one of those small towns, north on Route 1, somewhere near Jacksonville...

We have a thing for going topless (hence: "droptopgal") & the beach, thus we can frequently be found cruising along A1A, bikini clad, & in the Vette of course. Delray/Boca to Fort Lauderdale is a nice drive, sometimes we go further to Hollywood beach.
Every now and then, we'll cruise South Beach. Of course, one can't just cruise South Beach without stopping for one of those wonderful (huge) drinks!
At least twice a year, we venture to either Marathon or Key West. That is always a neat drive once you get off the mainland.
