Default Granatelli ignition wires

I've been running these wires for a while now, starting back when I first got my C5Z. They claim to have solid stainless wires and I've always wondered if that were true or not.

Well, I had one come apart recently while pulling the plug wires off of the new engine, so I had a chance to really take a look.

Well, that pretty much tells the story. This likely explains the claim of zero (0) ohms resistance. Copper or silver wires would be even better conductors, but I doubt it would make any practical difference.

Back in the old days, I always used solid core wires on my GTO. I could actually feel the difference in throttle response compared to the resistor style wires. The only problem I had with them was that I could hear the ignition buzz through the speakers of my radio. But I never listened to the darn thing anyway, so no loss to me.

Yeah, I've heard some people say that solid core wires can interfere with electronic fuel injected systems because of the RF interference they can produce, but Granatelli claims these wires do not have that problem. And as far as I know, I've never had any issues using them.
