Florida Drug and Alcohol Course for License?

So I know that you have to take some sort of online 4 hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness course prior to taking the license exam in Florida. I know that the course is online but can you tell me how difficult this course is to complete ? So for anybody that has gotten their license in Florida by completing this ?

I didn't have to take any such course when I got my driver's license here in Florida, but of course that was over 20 years ago.

I believe the drug and alcohol test is for first time drivers (meaning never having a driver's license in ANY state).
