Z06Fever! Well, why not? Having one of these toys is definitely an illness for which there is no cure, so let's talk about this specific malady. |

I am from the Panhandle area in Ft. Walton Bch. and was very happy to have found out about Chris @ Xtreme Motorsports. He installed a ProCharger/intercooler and Fidanza/ Spec stage 2 clutch/flywheel combo on my 03' Z06. Chris is very knowledgable of all things Corvette and I couldn't be happier with his work, except now I have a traction problem and need new tires. Ha Ha

Man, that's a REAL nice looking torque curve. Almost a straight line!

Thanks Chris.....That is very Impressive....541HP..."THATS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!".....With those numbers, I can wait awhile to get the C6, Z06 at 505HP. Saving up my coins right now!!!!!!

Jim,
As you can tell by the dyno sheet my Z is now in the "beastly" category. Absolutely a blur when its pulling in 3rd. gear. I would like to try some drag radials and see what she can really do as 1st. and 2nd.spin alot if you don't ease into it and traction control can't keep up. Changing out the clutch/flywheel was a very wise thing as the stock unit was not long for this world.(75,000k)(Everyday driver)Flywheel does just as advertised by spinning faster on accel and decel. Spec 2 is also a little different than stock in take-up but really hooks with a positive feel. Took about 2 weeks to get used to the difference. And as for the C6 Z. my car is faster than a stock one and alot cheaper and is totally stealth.

Isn't that 505 hp of the C6 Z06 at the flywheel, whereas Dan's 541 hp is at the rear wheels?

Do you have the aluminum flywheel? Kind of curious how different the aluminum one would be with regular street driving.

Yes.......it's app. 630hp at the flywheel. Street driving is not any different than stock setup, just a slight change in take-up from a standstill.
