Default Restrictions.....

Just got off the recorded C of C phone line for the car show. It's restricted to 86 and older vehicles. It said nothing about vettes regardless of year. I might just forgo this too if all my buds are not allowed.

Ken
I wasn't really planning on showing my car, it got pretty nasty driving home Weds. from the Steak Out in Clearwater. Joe was talking about just driving up and being spectators.

Well what a day. Joe, Deb , Mark and myself gathered at Joe's place getting ready to head to Plant City when the skies opened up. We weathered the storm out at Joe's until 6:30 when we braved the elements and went out for a bite to eat.
Thanks again to Joe & Deb's terrific hospital. Oh yea, Joe probably won't be here for a day or two. Seems lightning hit real close and Joe's cable equipment is a little toasted, but no fear, Brighthouse said they would get things up and running when they felt like it.
Up next thinking about going to the next round Rev Extreme Challenge at Bradenton Raceway Park in August.

Thanks Joe and Deb for your kind hospitality as we weathered through the verocious lightening and rain storm!!
Sorry Ken and Carrie for not showing up at the car show. Joe's computer moden and phone fried in the electrical storm and we had no way to reach you. Mark

Yeah, it was raining like hell while Connie and I were at AntiVenom, so we didn't even bother driving out to Plant City. Figured it would be a wash out. Guess I'll be buffing out water spots on the two cars over the next couple of days......

I got to Vero Beach yesterday about the time that storm was hitting there. WOW!!! Nasty stuff Also gave me the "opportunity" to find out that the 87 really does leak like a sieve!

As for the PC show, they won't allow anything newer to participate. Our F-body group used to meet there by the bank in a big group and party, hang out, walk the show, eat, and socialize

A couple of the people could participate (69 camaros) and the rest of us just watched.

It was also a great way to get our name out to the public. We had a big banner we strug across some trees and picked up several new members as a result of the walk and drive by's.

Speaking of new members. While I was down in Vero at the CF memorial fundraiser/car show/God's little freakin' car wash for Mike Holt, I met several people from up in my area. Handed out several flyers and hopefully we'll see some new faces shortly Great folks, I think you'll like them.

Also saw Dark Phantom, a member that hasn't been around in a while. Said he'll be back too
