I never leave the top off my C4 coup, but I'm more worried about someone stealing the top than anything in the car. If I had a vert, I'd probably leave the top down if there weren't alot of trees/power lines around!

Correct me if im wrong but i think its a respect thing if i see a custom or a vert i dont touch and as far as i know its the code if it aint yours dont touch it. anyway back to the question ahhhh the question was----- oh yeah i always leave my top down so far so good watch out for them dam birds.

Wel...
When I was a young lad, my mom parked in the grocery store parking lot leaving my older brother and I in the car, while she ran in for something.
She happened to park next to a car that had it's window down, and we proceeded to spit (a LOT) into his window.  I'm not proud of it!
Anyway, I guess I'm paranoid knowing that if I did stuff like that, there's others out there like minded. (what goes around comes around).

I used to leave the top down on mine all the time, but mainly because it was showing it age, but now that I replaced it myself I put it up all the time so I can admire my work

If it's me, I wouldn't walk away from it with the top down. About the only place would be at a Vette show. Somebody would be watching I'm sure.
