Complications....

Last night our youngest son graduated from high school.

Short story, we have 5 kids. 3 months after our youngest at that time graduates from high school my wife announces we're expecting. There's 18 years difference between our youngerst son and his sister.

Sitting in the bleachers watching the proud event are mom and dad; 3 brothers now in the late their 30's and early 40's, his sister mid 30's and our 6 grand kids (his nieces and nephews one older than him). My oldest son turns to me and says "boy dad, the world has really changed since I was his age, I don't know if............."

It's all a matter of perspective, he's venturing into the world he knows and feels comfortable in. I believe I'm more young at heart, tech savy and in touch with today then most guy's my age because of him. I'm thankful he took me along for the ride.

I used to.... Done tech service, programming, etc.... Right now I have three computers in the den, and two laptops elsewhere.

Just about every software package I have bought requires a lifetime committment just to learn all the details about. When you are a quarter of the way learning the product, then an upgrade comes out.... So many programs that used to be for simple tasks have become full blown nightmares of bells and whistles that most people don't want or need, but the developers wanted more check points on the comparison sheets.

Heck, I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 3 and never got around to even installing it before version 4 came out......

I agree that my son has kept me young at heart and up to date because of his enthusiasm

And my grandaughter has kept me tired and worn out....but very very happy

Yesterday Connie and I went to a store so she could find a new bra. Lord have MERCY!! Are they KIDDING???
