Here you go Andy.Tracy replace mine while the tranny was out. Look close and you'll see fractures around almost all of the bushings.

I'd have to assume that the bushing came apart and it has cords molded in the rubber to add strength. Those look like the cords and what's left of the rubber is in the bell housing. Bet that made some noise.

Yeah.... probably polished up the inside of the housing quite well with those cords wiping the inside surface at high speed.
